February Reading!

Thank God tomorrow is pay day! I have a list of books a mile long I’ve been dying to read but haven’t been able to afford… until tomorrow.

So I’ll start off with Into the Still Blue! I have been waiting in eager anticipation for this book to come out and when it finally did I was too broke to read it. You can bet your butts I’ll be purchasing and reading this starting first thing in the morning! I’ve spent some time the last week or so reading the first books of the series over to refresh my memory and my excitement has grown exponentially. I can’t freaking wait! I just can’t believe the end is here…. getting to read the last book of a series like this is always so bittersweet for me. Obviously I want to know what happens ridiculously bad but at the same time I want to read it as slow as possible to savor every moment and make it last. Seriously, if you’re into Dystopian novels give this series a chance! I love love love it! — Obviously expect a review on just how much I love the conclusion to the series later this week!

Two books by one of my super-favs Jessica Sorensen are coming out this month and I could not be more excited! Saving Quinton is the sequel to Breaking Nova and while the series isn’t my favorite of hers I need to know what happens next and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. Honestly even the worst of Jessica Sorensen’s work is still freaking amazing! She also has a new dark thriller coming out: The Forgotten Girl. I love thrillers so I am expecting to be biting my nails on the edge of my seat for this book. It doesn’t come out until the end of the month… But lucky us! February is a short month! (Hey! The couple days make a difference when you’re excited about something!)

Kelly Oram’s sequel to Chameleon is coming out Feb 25. Ungifted is sure to be awesome! I simply couldn’t put down the first book in the Supernatural Series and this one honestly sounds even better. It’s in a different POV- it seems we’ll get to experience a new POV in each book of the series, which is really fun to me! I’m excited to fall in love with new characters and see where the story takes us!

There are others obviously… only reading four books in a month is simply unheard of! But these are the ones I’m most excited for!

Rapture!

Ok… I’m behind. Like way behind.
See I got into Fringe and then I had to refresh on Veronica Mars (only like 1.5 months til the movie!)

So I took a couple weeks off reading. I know. Crazy (yeah, with a capital C).

But when I went back to look for any new books I realized Quinn Loftis’ Sequel to Elfin has been released.

Rapture is terrific! I love how Cassie and Trik’s relationship has grown and how their doing entering these new roles. Ahh, wonderful! But the characters who stole this book are Elora and Cush.

I seriously can’t get enough of them! I might even like them more than Trik and Cassie. Well maybe equal to. 🙂

This book is great! I had to keep telling myself to put it down because I wanted to savor it all!

I haven’t posted much lately because I haven’t read much the last couple weeks. (Mostly rereading old favorites) I’ve actually been spending a lot of time working on my own writing. See I finally got one I’m super excited about so all my free time has spent typing away at my keyboard.

Oh BTW King Hall is on sale! Can you really pass up a chance to read such a great novel for 99 cents?
